I´m in Barcelona at the moment, half-studying and half-I don´t quite know what. I´ve been able to practise quite a lot of Spanish and Catalan and I feel my Catalan is coming along quite well. I´ve been reading L´Avenç, a political magazine that really brings my Catalan along and last night I was able to listen to over 2 hours of Catalan conversation, which was good, but difficult because it was a Girona/Vic accent and not a easier Barcelona version. But every single bit of exposure that you get to your target language is useful, so I just need to keep paying attention and read some more books! Ciao!
